Child Residential Care Bank Support Worker
We are pleased to announce we have several upcoming part-time (“bank”) vacancies within our residential group homes. The opening of a 3rd home in the outlying Colchester area presents an excellent opportunity for people from all walks of life. Whether you want a shift or two per week to supplement your finances, are already working full-time looking to take a step back, or just want to try something different, this is a flexible job that will work for you.
We need empathetic adults with good emotional control to work alongside our seasoned carers and management staff to help guide our children onto healthy and fulfilling life paths. You will need to be at least 25 years old and hold a valid manual driving license to be covered by our company car pool insurance.
Pay is £9.69ph for a 6-month probation period, after which it increases to at least £9.95ph. Some shifts may involve sleeping overnight in the home – these pay £56.10 per night. Shifts are variable and will be assigned based on your availability and our needs; you are free to refuse any that you don’t want. There may also be some unassigned shifts that you can claim for extra work.
